New free script from us – V-ray maps baking script. v0.05
Bakes texture maps: Diffuse, Reflection, Refraction, Reflection Glossiness, Refraction Glossiness, Normal Bump, Fresnel IOR, Opacity, Illumination.
Creates VRayMtl with all textures correctly assigned.
Can convert exr to jpg using djv_converter.exe (part of the http://djv.sourceforge.net/ )
Ability to load custom render settings preset for baking. It reverts back to old preset.
What is Alchemy ?
Alchemy is an open drawing project that is perfect for initial sketching needs. It’s not meant for creating finished artworks but as foundation for something bigger and greater it’s best tool you can have and it’s FREE.
This little making of will show you the process of creation one of our last works. I will focus mainly on rendering and post-processing. Software used: 3ds Max 2012, V-Ray 2.30.01 and Adobe After Effects CS5.5 with plugins: Frischluft Lenscare, Color Finesse, ft-Vignetting, ft-Cubic Lens Distortion.

GrowFX is plugin for modeling and animating plants. It’s created by company called Exlevel and I would like to talk a little about my one day experience with it. I bought my copy today without actually trying trial version and I don’t regret it. It’s great piece of software.
